How a club night runs on Gatherlist

Set up the night
Create the event and one list per promoter, DJ or table. Each list has its own rules.
- During the week
Collect names
Promoters add guests with plus-ones and notes from their phone. Share a link with a guest cap and an expiry time, and guests add themselves without an account.
- At the door
Check in
Door staff search by name and check guests in on any phone. Check-ins sync in near real time, so two doors never admit the same guest twice.
- After the night
See what worked
Live stats during the night, an export afterwards, and a record of who added and admitted whom.

Questions from clubs
How does a club guest list work?
Promoters, DJs and the venue collect names before the night, usually with a cut-off time. At the door, staff find the name, check how many people are in the party and let them in. Gatherlist does the same on phones, with one live list for every door.
Can guests add themselves without an account?
Yes. Share a link with a guest cap and an expiry time. Anyone with the link can add names until the cap is reached or the link expires.
Does it work on any phone?
Yes. Gatherlist runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop. There is nothing to install.
Can I bring my existing list?
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel file or a Google Sheets link, or start from the free guest list template.
